What a great day of worship at Praise! Our theme centered on celebrating God for his blessings over the past year, and it truly was a thankful time. The worship team did a great job. I preached a year-end message reflecting on 2010 at Praise, and I had a blast preparing for it (even though I went way too long in my delivery–I don’t think anyone died of boredom but it might have come close).
After the worship service we had communion and Pastor Kevin led for the first time in his ministry. I had so much fun serving communion to the pews and then sitting in the back with my family while Pastor Kevin administered the sacrament. It was so refreshing to participate in communion from a different perspective and watch our church family minister to each other.
